One Note Stands
How One Note Stands Was Founded
One Note Stands was founded in October 2024 by Mary Mancuso, Austin Meyer, and Jaidyn Orozco. While serving together on UNO's Concert Choir council, the three shared a vision of creating the university's first ever recognized collegiate a cappella group. What began as a dream quickly became a reality as One Note Stands was established as an official student organization within just a few weeks. Following its founding, auditions were held, members were selected, and the group officially began its professional journey.

Performance History
Where One Note Stands Has Performed
One Note Stands is proud to have performed as the exhibition group for the International Championship of Collegiate A Cappella (ICCA) for two consecutive years. In November 2025, we had the incredible opportunity to perform at the Orpheum Theatre with Straight No Chaser. In February 2026, we were honored to be a featured ensemble at the Nebraska A Cappella Championships. We also perform throughout the Omaha community at UNO choir concerts, wedding events, retirement homes, coffee shops, and other special events. No matter the venue, we are passionate about sharing music, building connections, and bringing energy to every performance.
